The team that brought you the stunning scrolling platformer Pets Rescue are BACK with yet another incredible release for the expanded C16 and standard Plus/4 computers. Alpharay is visually incredible shoot 'em up that features six graphically gorgeous levels to battle through. Power-up your Alpharay fighter and destroy the enemy robot fleet that is invading your home system.

** STORY **
For ages the people of Archeron are living in fear. Robots from far away star systems are wreaking havok in the Archeron sector.
The people of Archeron created the interstellar ship "Alpharay" to defend their system from the robot threat. The first test flight in a nearby star system ended in a skirmish where the Alpharay outclassed hordes of enemy robots.
You have been selected as its pilot and fly out today. The future of the Archeron people is on your shoulders. Failure is not an option. GOOD LUCK!

** SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS **
ALPHARAY is a game for the Commodore Plus/4 and Expanded C16 computers. You can play the game in an emulator (we recommend YAPE for C16 / Plus4) or you can port the game onto real hardware if you have the resources to do so. The download file features the .d64 (disk version) of the game + game instructions.
NOTE: The cost of this purchase does NOT include VAT. The VAT will be added on during the checkout process, the amount of VAT varies depending on the VAT rates that apply to the country you are ordering from.

Just revisited this game. It's absolutely amazing!
Bought the floppy for my collection. "NTSC version" would be nice so that I could actually play it on my expanded c16. At this point all I can use is Yape.
The .D64 doesnt work in WinVice (3.1) or on my actual Commodore Plus/4 (NTSC) via SD2IEC. Is this because of the 40-track issues?

why is this free when pet rescue is not? Just curious.
Pet rescue looks great, so I figured I'd give it a whirl.
Pets Rescue contains extra features that were not present with the original free release version - hence the small charge. Alpharay was released freely at the Evoke scene party and this version is pretty much identical apart from the addition of the Psytronik logo at the start. Proceeds from both games are donated to charity on request of the programming team.
ah^^ okay :) Well, I wanted ot let you know Imma scoop up both of em for the suggested price. C64 games that are quality is rare, and I dig what you're doing.
This is not a C64 game, but maybe you just miswrote. No big deal. It's a C16 / Plus4 game, which are different computers by Commodore.
dude, not trying to get techincal here. it's a commodore styled game. that's fine.
