At long last the slick C64 shoot 'em up X-FORCE from Richard Bayliss has been given a proper commercial release by Psytronik! This download bundle features a version of the game with awesome soundtracks by FeekZoid along with a special version with trance soundtracks by Richard Bayliss. As a special bonus the download also includes the Crazy Hack version of the game by Vinny Mainolfi. This version contains a plethora of cheats, hacks and modifications made to the game.

** X-FORCE STORY **
It has been discovered the planet Darx is rich in minerals that Earth needs to use to construct a shield to protect our planet from a possible alien invasion. You are sent on a mission to the planet Darx to extract the minerals we desperately need for our planetary defence shield.
Darx was not an uninhabited planet however. Your ship is detected on approach and an alien mothership dispatches forces that capture your vessel. You must use your wits, cunning and reflexes to avoid the aliens and escape from the 16 underground sectors of the planet Darx. You must avoid laser gates on the way and grab any floating pods that can enhance your firepower.

** SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS **
X-FORCE is a game for the Commodore 64. You can play the game in a C64 emulator (we recommend VICE) or you can port the game onto real C64 hardware if you have the resources to do so. The download file features the .d64 (disk version), .tap (tape version) and .prg (c64 program files).

I've looked for an email address contact you but couldn't find one. Just wanted to know how you coded it on a C64 in these days?..I'm hoping your answer would be C# on visual studio lol

Sorry for the very long response. I more or less missed this :)
X-Force was designed using Char Pad V1.8 and Sprite Pad V1.8 by Saul, and I worked on the main programming and music (unless you played the CF archive version, which featured music from Breakthrough (Used with permission of course) . The game was programmed in C64Studio, which is more or less similar to ACME cross assembler. The music and sound effects were all made using Goat Tracker V2.
I played this on my Indie Game Showcase and playing this along with a few others is why I ended up investing in the C64 Mini. Although, I played this on PC, X-Force 2015 was a little rough around the edges. The gameplay was a little rushed, if it could be slowed down it would be a great game.
